What Is InMode FX (miniFX)?

InMode FX (miniFX) is a popular treatment for people who want a more defined jawline, are concerned about a double chin, or would like to improve facial sagging.

The treatment uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to generate heat and destroy fat cells, helping reduce fat. At the same time, RF energy is delivered to the dermis to stimulate collagen production. This may help tighten the skin and improve the appearance of enlarged pores.

InMode FX is one of the few medical devices that can target fat cells while also providing skin tightening. Some fat-reduction treatments may leave the skin looking loose after fat is reduced. By combining fat reduction with skin tightening, InMode FX aims to create a firmer, more youthful appearance.

Unlike fat-dissolving injections or liposuction, this treatment does not use scalpels or needles, minimizing the risk of injury to muscles, blood vessels, and nerves. Downtime is also minimal. miniFX can target small areas, such as the cheeks and under the chin. Because it reduces the number of fat cells, results are considered less likely to rebound.
